Throxy raises €5.3M to fix outbound sales with pay-per-meeting model

Throxy, a London-based startup, wants to to fix outbound sales, and it’s just raised €5.3 million in seed funding to scale its approach. The round was led by Base10 Partners with participation from Y Combinator, following Throxy’s graduation from YC’s Spring 2025 batch.

Founded in 2023 by Pablo Jiménez de Parga Ramos, Bergen Merey, and Arnau Ayerbe, Throxy takes a different stance on outbound: clients only pay if meetings get booked. No meetings, no fee.

The startup argues that existing sales automation, even AI-driven tools, fails in industries like manufacturing, logistics, and medical, where buyers often lack a digital footprint and can’t easily be found on LinkedIn. Instead, sales teams waste up to 70% of their time prospecting rather than closing deals.

Throxy combines proprietary data, custom technology, and human expertise to reach overlooked prospects. The company says it has already helped clients like Imnoo, Santillana, and Pycad book consistent qualified meetings, achieve up to 84% positive reply rates, and save 15+ hours per week on outbound tasks.

Outbound sales has stagnated with diminishing returns. Generic automation tools don’t penetrate traditional industries. We built Throxy to eliminate that bottleneck

Early traction has been strong: Throxy grew to €1.2M ARR with just three employees before raising this round. With fresh funding, the startup plans to scale its team nearly fivefold.
