Slovakia delivered the strongest mobile web browsing performance in Eastern Europe in the first four months of 2026, according to user-based tests performed by nPerf. With a score of 72.3%, it outperformed six other countries in the region and set the pace for everyday mobile internet experience.
Bulgaria came second with 69.8%, while Romania placed third at 67.2%. The top five countries formed a fairly compact cluster. Behind Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania came Czechia at 67.0% and Poland at 64.0%, leaving just 8.3 points between first and fifth place.
That indicates broadly similar performance across much of the region’s better-performing markets. For most users in those countries, mobile browsing should feel reasonably fast and responsive during normal online activity.
Weakest markets lag behind
At the other end of the table, Moldova scored 55.8% and Ukraine 55.6%, both nearly 17 points behind Slovakia. The spread across all seven countries runs from 55.6% to 72.3%, showing that mobile internet quality in Eastern Europe is still uneven.
