Amsterdam-based Framer, the no-code website builder, has secured $100 million in a Series D funding round led by Meritech and Atomico, catapulting its valuation to a whopping $2 billion.

The fresh capital injection is poised to solidify Framer’s foothold in the professional web design industry, offering businesses a faster, more cost-effective alternative to traditional developer-heavy workflows.

Founded in 2015 in Amsterdam, with offices in San Francisco and Barcelona, Framer has rapidly become the go-to platform for companies looking to launch high-quality websites without relying on extensive engineering resources.

Framer’s platform now powers hundreds of thousands of active websites and boasts half a million monthly users, including high-profile clients like Scale AI, Miro, Perplexity, and Bilt.

Unlike traditional builders, Framer combines a fully flexible design canvas with a state-of-the-art CMS, on-page editing, and rich built-in features like animations, forms, analytics, A/B testing, and live collaboration.
