Zurich-based EdTech startup Evulpo has secured €9.3 million in Series A funding. The round was led primarily by existing backers including Serpentine Ventures, Swiss family offices, and a roster of high-profile entrepreneurs.

Founded in 2020 and launched in 2022, Evulpo has expanded to seven countries, serving thousands of families and around 100 schools. Average user session times exceed 30 minutes, surpassing global EdTech engagement benchmarks.

The platform integrates curriculum-aligned explainer videos, summaries, and interactive exercises, developed in collaboration with Swiss universities. Evulpo personalizes education for students while offering teachers tools for planning, analytics, and automated grading.

Funding focus: Product development and new features

Approximately 70% of the new capital will go into product development, including fully adaptive lessons that dynamically adjust to student knowledge, inter-class gamification features, and new dashboards to provide teachers and school leaders with insights into learning gaps.

As policymakers grapple with declining PISA scores, teacher shortages, and systemic inefficiencies, Evulpo aims to position itself not merely as a supplementary tool but as a core infrastructure for modern education systems.
