Austrian migration-tech startup mypaperwork.ai, developed by Fresh Labs FlexCo, announced that it has closed a €500,000 pre-seed round, backed by investors from Angels United.
The startup is building a multilingual, AI-powered platform that guides people through complex migration processes, automates visa applications, starting with Austria’s RWR+ Card system, and integrates OCR, LLMs, and knowledge graphs for smart personalization.
In April 2025, mypaperwork.ai launched a dedicated Application Assistant to help Ukrainians in Austria apply for the Red-White-Red (RWR+) Card, Austria’s key work and residence permit.
In the following months, the platform has expanded to cover additional permits, including the Red-White-Red Card for skilled workers from third countries, the EU Blue Card, and student visas.
With this funding, mypaperwork.ai is ready to launch in Czechia in Q4 2025, and work on a scalable architecture for a pan-European rollout with the aim to ”build a Europe that works for everyone who chooses to call it home”.
