Berlin just got a taste of the future of urban mobility. Astraux unveiled its full lineup of all-electric microcars, aiming to put compact EVs on European streets. More than 3,000 people have locked in pre-sale rights for the company’s AL6 and AL7 models, each backed by a €1,000 early-bird discount.
The AL6 is the entry point of the lineup, a €7,000 two-seater that can be legally driven from the age of 14. Its sibling, the AL7, starts at €9,000 and requires a standard B, C, or D license. At just 2.3 meters long and 1.3 meters wide, both cars are tiny enough for dense European cities yet offer a driving range of up to 180 km.
Standard equipment includes heating and air conditioning, along with compatibility with 74% of public charging stations. Inside, Astraux leans hard into tech: CarPlay support, wireless charging, keyless entry, remote A/C activation, and vehicle monitoring all come baked in.
Under the hood, the AL6 packs a 5kW motor with a top speed of 45 km/h, while the AL7 doubles power to 10kW, pushing the limit to 90 km/h. Both can be wrapped in more than 99 customizable designs. For buyers who want to go full futuristic, an onboard drone add-on is available, for €3,999.
